Expect a cutting edge experience with Atoti Server and Java API 6.1.

Hetal Kapadia

We have made some upgrades to enhance performance and give you more flexibility. Read on to see the changes we’ve included in this latest release, and be sure to check out our previous blog on how this release allows you to work smarter, not harder.

Upgraded to Spring Boot 3 and Java 21

We transitioned Atoti to Spring Boot 3.2 and Java 21.  These changes provide improved garbage collection and overall performance enhancements, resulting in a more robust and efficient environment that can handle demanding workloads seamlessness. Read our previous piece for more information on why we’ve upgraded to Spring Boot 3.

Copper on Horizontal and Polymorphic Cubes

With this release, we introduce the ability to define all measures using the Copper API on horizontal and polymorphic cubes. This enhancement simplifies the process of measure definition, providing greater flexibility and control over data cubes. The Copper API’s integration ensures consistency and ease of use, making it a valuable addition for users seeking to optimize their data structures.

Concealed Branches

With our new concealed branches feature, users decide whether to send all branches or just the main branch to the query cube. This reduces the number of messages sent to the query node, increasing the cluster stability. This will also reduce the memory used by the query node.
