With the release of Atoti Limits 4.0.0, we’ve streamlined with a simplified project structure and continued our commitment to using the latest technologies. Read about these latest changes in Atoti Limits.
Simplified project structure
With Atoti Limits 4.0, we’ve reconfigured the project structure. Our goal was to simplify migrations, improve maintainability, and align with the latest versions of Atoti Server and Spring Boot. This restructuring offers a streamlined setup for developers, ensuring a modernized, organized, and developer-friendly framework.
This structural refinement supports a smoother migration path and aligns with modern standards. It will make it easier to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and work within a maintainable codebase.
For a full guide on building and deploying with the new structure, refer to the Project Structure Documentation and Migration Guide.
Upgraded Atoti Server and UI versions
This release upgrades Atoti Limits to Atoti Server 6.1.0 and Atoti UI 5.2.0, incorporating the latest improvements and enhanced performance capabilities. Atoti Server 6.1.0 requires Java 21, ensuring forward compatibility and optimizing Atoti Limits for current Java standards.
For added flexibility, Java 11 connector artifacts have been introduced. This supports legacy connections while advancing the core platform to the latest standards.
Framework upgrades
Like Atoti Server, Atoti Limits 4.0 now depends on Java 21. Additionally, upgrades to the Common Parent POM and Common Dependencies BOM bring the latest versions of Spring Boot 3.2.9 and Activiti 8.6.0. These enhancements provide a modernized foundation, ensuring compatibility and stability across Java environments.
